  "Hostile Intent" By Lynette Eason Book Review  October 16th, 2021 Revell Reads  Ava Jackson's life is carefully controlled and kept safe and quiet until, she leaves the Navy, to care for her mother in a nursing home and is attacked while leaving. Who is trying to kill her? And why is it connected to her father who she believes didn't "pass away" Thus, she is on a mission to find out who and why. She is searching throughout this novel, for answers to her fathers disappearance, and for herself. If she can just find her father and then, maybe she will finally have her world fixed. But the more she uncovers and the more she digs in, Is she next? Is it worth it to her when it finally comes together? This why is Ms. Eason is a great writer and storyteller. I loved this story because it is honest, real, and true to real life and real life stories.  F.T.C.  . Megan August 7th, 2021 "The Rape of Dinah" InterVarsity Press I wonder what Dinah thought as Scehem forced himself on her and raped her. He defiled her body and all she could do was lie on the bed and take it. I wonder what this did to her emotionally and psychology and if she could form the words? I doubt it. I wonder what happen after, I wonder what Dinah felt she could do? Would she tell someone? What will others think of her? I wonder if she thought of those things?  I doubt it. I think she was so traumatized she didn't know what to think. After the fact, she told her brothers, they were upset, and they did what men do they fought and conquered, but after all that, What about Dinah? Was she really taken seriously? Did her rape really matter? I will tell that story.  According to dictionary.com Rape is defined as the unlawful sexual intercourse or any other sexual entering of sex organs, or mouth of another person WITHOUT CONSENT OF VICTIM.  If that's the case,

He was a bystander. he did nothing to stop it and he had some influence to. But he stood there and watched what they did to Stephen. he took of his robe and laid it on the ground. His name was Saul. The crowd yelled and they were intent on killing him. They drove him out of the city, and began to stone him. Stephen called out to The Lord "and said "Jesus receive my spirit." He fell on his knees and cried out with a loud voice "Lord do not hold this sin against them."   Megan  June 17th, 2021 "The Hotel" by Pamela Kelley  Book Review  Prism Book Tours  Paula Whitley runs The Whitley Hotel with her Grandfather who is aging and needs help, so he hires an consultant named David to help out. He does well running the hotel. Paul's brother Nick dates and actress named Cami. Their relationship progresses. The goings on of the hotel are fun, clean, and great to read and the interactions with Paula, David, Nick, and Cami are fun as well. I really liked this book, first, the food and second the story is romantic, like a Hallmark movie. The ending let me wanting more. F.T.C.
