Into His Presence

According to the author of the book, Dr. Anderson, Intimacy with God is a close, connection to Him guided by trust and vulnerability. " (p. 27).  Intimacy also provides believers a everlasting covenant with God." (p. 30)  Also, Dr. Anderson says there four elements of Intimacy with God, first- Movement toward Intimacy- A nearness God wants with us, a closeness. A covenant. (p.30) second- Intimate Knowledge- Believers inner workings, such as desires, motivations, and behaviors. 3- Intimate Location- Where God meets with his people. 4 and finally, Intimate Contact- How God touches us, or connects with us, through prayer. (p.40) In conclusion, God wants to draw believers closer to Him through prayer and the gospel. My thoughts on this book are it was a very good read. It was not difficult to read nor was the pacing of the book was easy to understand. Dr. Anderson's principles meets Biblical standards. The audience for this book is a Bible College student or someone like

The imitate (p.14-15 Berteau) People will never be able to earn Jesus' love. Buy or make an manufactured form of it and sell it and see what happens. People will never be able to understand how much Jesus really loves us. The sacrifice on the cross that he made for love for all people who will believe
