Made for Friendship

Dr. Hunter says there are three parts to friendship. First, it is necessary, second it is a gift, and third it is redemptive.  The necessity of friendship is if we remove it then, we lose half our joy. It equals happiness with one another. Friendship benefits one another because it is a deep connection. According to A.C. "a atheists philosopher , "The highest and finest of all human relationships is friendship." Friendship is the meaning of the cross. John 15:12, "It is my command love one another as I have loved you." No one has greater love than to lay down his life for his friend." We must treasure friendship. It is necessary for our mental, emotional, and physical health. If we do not have any connections to another human than we are emotionally and mentally unglued. We as a result, become lonely, and a person's well being is damaged. Dr. Hunter also says we ache for friendship. We do not want to be alone. God does not want people to be alone either. Having close friends according to Dr. Hunter, helps people figure out life." Close friends love people more than anyone else will. The thesis of Dr. Hunter's work is friendship is important to a human's life. Humans must be able to connect and create memories that keep humans whole and loved in life.
