Colleen Coble Interview

Megan Jones  February 13th, 2023  Colleen Coble Interview  1.  Why did you want to write suspense? "I appreciate it when all the secrets of the past come back to haunt characters. I love the puzzle of a murder mystery and the trill of a heroine in danger. Annie is more than capable of becoming the ultimate overcoming heroine." 2. What inspired to want to write? "My writing process always starts with setting- weird I know. But I've found researching the setting springboards me to plot points and character details. I knew I wanted to set the series in Michigan's Upper Peninsula My readers are passionate about the Rock Harbor series so I wanted to have,  Annie  a part of that community. And I always like my main character to have an unusual profession. In researching I ran across law enforcement rangers or LEOs as they are called. The profession resonated with me because I could have a lot of wilderness scenes and interesting  situations." 3. A lot ...

Megan Jones  Partners in Crime Book Tours  "Dark of Night"  Colleen Coble  February 10th, 2023  I loved the first book in the Annie Pederson novel series, "The Edge of Dusk" I have been waiting to read the second book in this series. So worth the wait. A very family driven story and I liked the character of Annie, I have a thing for Christian Suspense books about mysterious people and circumstances. This series is great so far. Every time Annie questioned her past, I was intrigued and wondering what was going to happen next? I loved how Annie is starting to grow. I thought the author wove mystery, suspense, in very smart ways. And the suspense was page turning worthy. Time well spent on the edge of the page, but the ending....  F.T. C.  Megan Jones  "Concrete Evidence" Book Review  Partners in Crime Book Tours November 25th, 2022  What a great read, I loved the main character Avery, a strong female that got me interested from page 1, This story is very family driven, and I love that. I have a  thing for family driven suspense, This book was fantastic. Every time, Avery and this family member  had an interaction, I loved her more and related to her. I loved how much she changed and continued to change along her journey. I thought the author had some pretty smart ways of weaving the style of her previous books. The suspense kept me on the edge of my seat. With a very satisfying ending. F.T.C. Title 16 Disclaimer  "I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher.
