The reader is introduced to Dr.  Heather Fontaine, at her worst. She is reeling from an young boy's  suicide boomer's attack on a village in the Middle East. Heather returns from her time in the field and is not the same. She is standoffish, distant, and even rude at times with her friends  in order to cope She likes to be in control, her every move planned and carefully thought out.  So when she discovers she is being stalked she is scared and worried, so she runs away to a small town off the grid. She is at peace and safe so she thinks. Meanwhile, her friend, Travis is looking for her when he finds her trouble is close by. They work together to find out who is trying to destroy Heather's life before it's too late. The twists and turns along the way leave the reader guessing until the end. And leave us wanting more.....
