When God's Ways Make No Sense

Sometimes in life, when a believer prays for something it does not happen or it happens in the way the person is not expecting.   And in my life this has happened recently. When my canine became older and started getting sick, I would pray and ask others to pray as well. Then she would feel better. But I would have to this all the time. I would worry and pray this became my life. I also became stressed and I worried that she would get worse and die in her sleep. I didn't know what I would do.  But then, she got worse, the last 7 months of her 11 year life. She lost weight, she could not hold her pee and she would poop after she ate. She slept all day. She was just existing.  Then, October 2nd, we had to make the choice to lay her to rest.   So, I began to question God, I wondered why she was here for 11 years and almost 8 with me and my family for her to pass away on an exam table.  When God's Ways Make No Sense is in my view about how all Christians struggle to accept God's will.  The pain and the anger I have felt over the past 3 days has been hard on me emotionally and psychologically.

God's ways really don't make sense because I am not ever going to understand them. I am supposed to trust God and his plan. But deep down I am human and I am not perfect.   I am hurting and I am wondering when it will get better.

So, God's Ways Make No Sense right now, but someday they will.

I enjoyed this book because I have been struggling with this very topic. I am the type that wants answers right now, but God does not work that way. So, I must either accept it or lash out in anger, fear, or worry.  God really does love me, and other believers I get it. But pain is hard to let go of.
