The Lord said to Abram Go out from your relatives and your fathers house, to the land I will show you. 2- I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you and I will make your name great. And you will be a blessing. 4- So Abram went and got Lot, his nephew, and he was 75 years old when he left Haron.  "Abram's Covenant- Genesis Ch. 15 verse 1- The Lord came to Abram in a vision, and said Do not be afraid, I am your shield I will make your reward great. 4- Now the word of the Lord came to him, "This will not be your heir, instead one who comes from your own body will be. 5- Look at the sky, and count the stars your offspring will be numerous 6-Abram credited to the Lord. 13- Then, the Lord said to Abram your offspring will be resident aliens for 400 years in a land that doesn't belong to them and be enslaved and opposed.  14- However I will judge the nation and afterward they will go with their stuff 15- But you will go to your father's house in peace and be buried at a good old age. 16- In the 4th generation they will return for the inequity of The Amorites hasn't reached its full measure.  Sarai took Hagar to Abram and she slept with him and she became pregnant and gave birth to Ishamel. Guzik 4-6 "One that comes from your own body is a direct physical heir in the next generation to emp. that his son would be the first in line of many heirs. God is forceful in that he told Abram that he will have a son. Gold told him to look up at the stars indicating that the vision came at night." 13- "Since the actual time in Egypt was 430 years, God is speaking in rounded numbers here. The Hebrew word for Generation never carries the meaning of a lifetime. Thus, The 4th Gen. is counted from Moses parents, then Moses, then The gen. of Moses sons Gerhom and Elizer."
