"A Bride of Convenience" For Jody hedlund's Release Crew

Picture this,   a young woman named Zoe Hart, living in the slums of England, in 1863, working at a sowing mill  trying to survive  while caring for her sister's baby girl who  doesn't want her. Then one morning, Zoe's life is changed forever when the baby passes suddenly, nobody knows why?  Zoe is left to pick up the pieces of her shattered heart and try to move on to something better, while still mourning the loss of her niece, so she decides to leave England and head to British Columbia on a Bride Ship to marry and create a better life for herself. A chance to start over. Along her journey, she meets Jane, a former sowing mill worker she is also looking for a husband as well. They become friends. But Jane falls ill on the ship, as result of her working in the mill. Zoe is heartbroken. Zoe wonders what is next? Next, She meets Abe, a pastor and friend who offers Zoe hope, prayer, and God's love if she accepts. Zoe, then, meets Herman Cox, a recent widow whose wife died during childbirth. He wants Zoe to care for the baby girl. The baby is an outcast among the town because it is a native. Zoe accepts the baby and is deteriemd to care for her. Then, she meets Dexter Dawson, a creepy character who she wants to marry, so he will provide for her and the baby. Abe warns Zoe not to marry him, but she doesn't listen she believes it's God will. But is it really? Zoe is searching for her purpose. What is God's plan for her life? Should she marry Dexter? Abe? She wants so badly to find out fast. But God's timing for Zoe will happen when God has everything in its proper place and time. This is why I really like Ms. Hedlund's stories and writing, real people, real life, and honest story-telling true to God's word.  I also, really like Zoe's character she is my favorite of the series. She is honest, real, true, and thoughtful and relatable. Her pathway to her journey of purpose will bless her beyond her wildest dreams. It was an great honor to read her story.
