Worldview Christian Standard Study Bible

The Worldview Christian Standard Study Bible is the best study bible I have ever owned. The back of the box says The Study Bible has 130 scholarly articles written by 120 scholars, a ribbon marker, and maps, and of course The Old and New Testaments.  But the best part of this Study Bible is the translation. Christian Standard English. This translation is has more of a deeper meaning and connection for the person reading it, for example me. I finally found a Study Bible that I can understand and actively read. Disclosure- I received a complimentary copy of this Study Bible from the publisher through the bhbloggers.com book review program, which requires an honest though not necessarily positive review.  The opinions I have expressed are mine. God's Praying Promises Revell Reads Review

This book was just like any other devotional I have read. It included scripture, and how to apply it to your life. I was disappointed. There was not anything I could relate to. The Return Baker Books Blogger Review

Lacey Sturm, was an 36 year old young woman in a hard rock band called FlyLeaf. She was atheist.  She has two sons. She was in a dark place when she said God spoke to her in a chapel and she became a Christian.   This is a pretty good memoir. It includes recipes, and drawings. I did enjoy it to a certain extent, being that I am a young person who was not a Christian 16 years ago then I became one.  I think someone who has been through when Ms. Sturm has would really like this book. She is a former addict.  I am glad that she turned her life over to Jesus. I wish her well.
